My background

I’m an experienced and qualified BACP registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, and at the heart of my work is a simple commitment to really understand you. I want you to feel heard, supported and met with genuine curiosity and care - whoever you are and whatever’s brought you to therapy.

Alongside my work as a counsellor, I’m also a professional musician. I’ve spent the past decade living the highs and lows of life in music - writing, performing, recording, dealing with labels, self-managing, and navigating the very unique (and often invisible) pressures that come with a creative life.

That experience gives me a deep understanding of what it’s really like behind the scenes, what it means to be creatively driven but emotionally stretched, to hold it all together on the outside while struggling inside. I know the energy it takes to keep going, and I feel privileged to support other creatives in finding their way through.

Whether you’re from the music world or not, I’d be honoured to work with you and support you on your journey.

In my private practice I work with people from all backgrounds as well as individuals within the music sector. I am dedicated to upholding the ethical standards set by the BACP and strive to maintain high professional practices.

How I Work

I offer a warm, collaborative space where we work together to explore what’s going on for you. I tale an integrative and relational approach, which means I draw from different therapeutic models depending on what you need.

My approach brings together two core therapies:

  • Psychodynamic: This explores how your early relationships and past experiences shape how you relate to yourself and others today.

  • Person-Centred: This focuses on what you’re feeling in the here and now, and believes in your natural potential for growth and change.

Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, creative burnout, identity struggles, relationship issues, or just feel a bit lost, I’m here to help you make sense of things at your pace, in your own way.

Sessions & Availability

I offer weekly 50-minute sessions, either short-term or open-ended. All sessions are held online via Zoom, giving you flexibility and comfort, wherever you are.
